Aging Youthfully Ezine
Think Positively to Prolong Your Life
It always amused me listening to young people in England talking about getting old as if it were some sort of dreaded disease, a plague that would strike you down as your first grey hair arrived on the scene. And that was a teenager thinking about the over thirties!
Once you get to the thirties, they of course seem very young, but many do start to have self doubts about aging once they get in the forties. There is no need to. Those doubts could in themselves cause premature death. What you really need is a positive, youthful attitude, a determination to get your maximum years from now on.
It is not unreasonable to expect to live to 100, and do not let anyone else tell you otherwise. But why not be more positive, and set yourself a higher target? 110 or 120 will both do. Even if you are only 60, start planning your 100th birthday with a degree of certainty that it will happen. You are going to age youthfully.
Positive thinking can be a big boost to your success and enjoyment at any time of your life, and it can be applied to any part of your life. A positive approach to your own longevity can play a key part in living to a ripe old age. Then, within that remaining life, using the same positive approach on all you are trying to achieve can make that life much more fulfilling and happy.
So, if you have decided to write a book after retirement, let positive thinking play its role. If you have decided to start a new business at 70, then let that same positive attitude ensure your business success. Aging is not a sickness, it is a new era to be enjoyed.
